Remember from last week that the Heroic Cycle begins with our hero at his or her starting point. Write a comment about how Percy’s journey has begun. You will probably include things like:
1. How Percy was given his quest
2. What is Percy’s quest
3. Why is he assigned his quest
4. Is Percy’s excited about it, nervous, scared….etc
5. Who are Percy’s friends that will travel with him and help him on his way
Your response will be a couple of good paragraphs. You may use your books to help you write it if you wish!

Percy was given his quest by Chiron to retrieve the master bolt from the underworld he is pretty nervous who woukdnt be and Annabeth and Grover help him.

ReplyDeleteChiron gave Percy his quest, it is to get Zues's lighting bolt thats in the Underworld. Percy is nervous because he doesnt think he can finish his quest. Annabeth and Grover go on the quest with him to help.

ReplyDeletePercy went to go see the snake like thing up in the attic (the oracle) gave him details. Chiron gave him the quest. His quest is to find Zeus's lightning bolt. He is assigned this quest because Zeus thinks that Poseidon had Percy steel the lightning bolt. Percy is nervous and scared about his quest, but he is kind of excited at the same time. Along with Percy is Grover and Annabeth, they will help him and travel with him.

Percy's quest is given bye Chiron to get the bolt from the underworld. He is nurvous i would be really nurvous. The two people that helped him was Annabeth and Grover. He is assigned the quest because Zues thought Poseidon took it and Percy has to fix it and he has more power then any other Demi god.
ReplyDeletePercy was given his quest by Chiron, the centaur. Percy's quest is to retrieve Zeus' stolen lightning bolt to Mount Olympus by the summer solstice. He is assigned this quest to clear his name and his father's name. Percy is scared because it is very dangerous but he is excited to clear his and his father's names. Percy's friends who will help him are Annabeth and Grover.

ReplyDelete1. Percy was accused of stealing Zeus’s lightning bolt so he was sent to go and find it.
2. Percy must go and find Zeus’s lightning bolt and confront the lord of the dead to find the lightning bolt.
3. Zeus had his lightning bolt stolen and he thinks that Percy’s dad, Poseiden had Percy steal it for him.
4. Percy is very scared and nervous about confronting the lord of the dead and what will happen if he can’t get Zeus’s lightning bolt back
5. Percy only bring Grover and Annabeth along with him.

ReplyDeleteChiron gave Percy his quest to retrieve Zeus’s lightning bolt. Zeus believes either Poseidon or Percy stole the bolt from him, and Percy needs to retrieve the lightning bolt from Hades in order to clear his and his father’s name. Percy went to the Oracle to get the details about the quest. The Oracle said, “You shall go west, and face the god who has turned. You shall find what was stolen, and see it safely returned. The one who calls you a friend shall betray you. And you shall fail to save what matters most, in the end.” Percy is excited to be able to have the chance to save his mother from Hade’s, but obviously nervous that he might die. He’s glad his friends, Grover and Annabeth are going with him.

His quest was assigned by Chiron. His quest was to find zeus’s lightning bolt. Zeus thinks that Poseidon had Percy steel the lightning bolt. Percy was scared and nevus his friends that came were annabeth and grover.
Percy gets a quest from Chiron (Mr. Brunner) to retreive Zues's lightning bolt because someone stole it and Percy is blamed.
